Apprenticeships and traineeships are a great way to learn skills in a particular industry by working and undertaking training at the same time. They are available in a vast range of industries. Apprenticeships and traineeships are generally recognised as an entry level for introducing new people into the workforce. They are also a way of formally recognising the skills existing workers already have and complementing them through further training.
We stand out from other training providers in our support for students, especially literacy and numeracy support. Our Course in Applied Vocational Study Skills (CAVSS) involves a CAVSS teacher working alongside the vocational/trade teacher to develop literacy and numeracy skills within work contexts. It results in positive outcomes for both learners and employers. Find out more about other Student Support Services.
