Why Bendigo TAFE?

Tailored solutions for your business

Your customised training package will:

  • detail the competencies required of your staff to help you achieve your business priorities
  • assess and recognise the current competencies of your staff
  • create training or development plans for your staff
  • make the most of your training/development budget by measuring the return on your investment.

Skills development and training

Your training requirements might also be met through a mix of:
  • workplace delivery and assessment, workshops, short courses and other flexible programs to suit your needs and incorporate rolling enrolments
  • the opportunity to enrol staff in one of our existing short, full or part-time courses
  • nationally accredited and professional development training
  • training for new and existing trainees and apprentices
  • promotion of pathway opportunities.

Support for learners

We provide a range of support strategies to assist learners with specific literacy and numeracy needs. For example, the Course in Applied Vocational Study Skills (CAVSS), provides students with extra teacher support in language, literacy and numeracy to work alongside the vocational teachers. This ensures learners have the maths and literacy skills required by the vocational training program. Learners make connections between the skills they already have and the practical industry skills.
