This qualification is for disability workers who operate at an advanced skill level to provide specialist disability services and act as a resource for other workers suitable for those providing professional supervision of staff including volunteers, working intensively with clients and/or work with clients with complex needs. Coordinating work programs, supervising accommodation service delivery and/or managing services.

Duration
This course is offered via RPL or Rapid Recognition for people already working in the industry. The course is aimed to be self-paced and can be completed in one or two years, either off campus or flexibly with online learning.

Course pre-requisites

To gain entry into this course candidates need to have previous experience in the disability sector in a job role involving:
  • The self-directed application of knowledge with substantial depth in some areas
  • The exercise of independent judgement and decision-making
  • The application of a range of technical and other skills.

Students will need to have access to a computer to enable them to study online.
