This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in first line management skills in the retail and/or wholesale industries. It applies to those who are managing a small retail outlet, a section or department within a larger retail store, a small wholesale outlet, or a section or department within a larger wholesale business. This course is classified as "full time" and is classroom based in Bendigo TAFE's Retail Training Room. Classes are held Mondays and Tuesday from 9am to 3pm for 17 weeks. This course is offered twice a year, in February and July. This qualification is also available through Recognition of Prior Learning or Rapid Recognition for those who are already working in the retail industry at this level at any time during the year.
