Trades and Sustainability

Our focus is to ensure industries have access to well trained, highly skilled tradespeople. This may be through an apprenticeship or people refreshing their skills to ensure they have the most current knowledge and work practices to bring to their workplace.

Trades include automotive, building and construction, engineering, electrical and refrigeration, painting and decorating and plumbing.

Bendigo TAFE also offers a range of courses including animal studies, agriculture, horticulture, conservation and land management, parks and gardens, landscaping and paving. These courses are delivered at the state of the art Food and Fibre Centre of Excellence - located at our Charleston Road campus in Bendigo.

You may be interested in these programs if you:

  • want to complete a pre-apprenticeship program
  • are an apprentice in one of these areas
  • want to extend your skills in any of these areas by undertaking a certificate IV or diploma
  • want to work in the trades, animal studies or sustainability field
