Aged Care & Disability Courses

Aged Care and Disability

If you are a caring person and like to lend a helping hand, supporting those who need assistance, aged care and disability studies should be your next endeavour.

Students enrolled in our Bendigo TAFE courses and focussing on Aged Care and DIsability  will learn about caring for the elderly or the disabled. Through studying an aged care and disability course you will learn how to provide personal care and individualised support.

If you decide to study an aged care TAFE course focused on caring for the elderly you will learn about palliative care, dementia care and infection control.

However, if your interests are more tailored to caring for someone with a disability you will discover how to help people achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance and community participation.

Take the opportunity to gain basic qualifications for employment in aged care and disability services, that can be used in both residential and community care settings.
