7.30pm - Ceremony to commence
Dress: Smart casual (no denim)

All students who wish to graduate must RSVP by the due date by completing the RSVP form enclosed with your invitation.
Strictly NO RSVP’s will be accepted after 20 February 2012.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE NIGHT
The ceremony will go for approximately one hour.
Ceremony Procedure
Graduands must arrive and register no later than 6.30pm
Collect your allocated seat number/name card from the registration table.
If you are a Diploma or Advanced Diploma student, collect your academic gown and stole.
Graduands must assemble in the marshalling area where you will be lined up into order of presentation.
Once all students are moved into the correct presentation order, you will be seated in the main auditorium in that same order (please note that guests will be seated separately to graduands and award recipients).
Once the ceremony commences, graduands will be directed by an usher to stand, file forward to the stage and ascend the stairs one by one.
The name card issued earlier (at the registration area) should be handed to the usher beside the announcer.
The announcer will call the graduand’s name and then the graduand is to walk towards the presenter to receive their acknowledgement of completion.
The graduates should exit stage by the far stairs and return to their allocated seat.
Certificate of Completion
As you will have received your Certificate of Completion in the mail, an acknowledgement of completion will be provided to all students at the Graduation Ceremony. The Graduation Ceremony is a great opportunity for students’ successes to be publically recognised. It is a celebration of achievement and acknowledgment of those students who have worked so hard to obtain their qualification.
Guests
Each graduand is entitled to bring two guests to the ceremony. Any additional tickets will be $5.00 per person. Please complete the appropriate section of the RSVP form on your invitation.
Academic Gown Hire
All Diploma and Advanced Diploma students are required to wear an academic gown and stole. Please arrive at the venue no later than 6.30pm for gowning. Gowns must be returned at the conclusion of the ceremony.
A hiring cost of $33.00 (incl. GST) per person applies for your academic gown.
We require details of your height (in cm) to allow a suitable size gown to be allocated to you. The academic gown is black, and will be open at the front. The colour of your stole is based on the teaching centre your course lies within.
Professional Photographs
Sean Walsh Photography will be in attendance for student photos from 5.30pm. Family photos may be taken after the ceremony.
To allow for academic dress and marshalling, the photographers will stop work at 7.00pm and recommence after the ceremony is finished (approximately 8.30pm). Photos are 13cm x 18cm and are at a cost of $15.00 (incl. GST) per photo. All photos must be paid for on the night by cash or cheque directly to the photographer.
