Bendigo TAFE
Other training providers

Some students in Bendigo TAFE’s catchment find it very difficult to get to a Bendigo TAFE campus to study. We have partnered with a number of other Registered Training Organisations to deliver accredited courses on our behalf in those areas. Our partner training providers comply with Bendigo TAFE’s quality guidelines to ensure students’ training is delivered at the same high standard. Students also have access to the library and bookshop, and student support services via online and telephone contact.

EASE (Emergency Accommodation and Support Enterprises Inc.) established Solving the JIGSAW, which is a multi award winning school based violence prevention and well being program.  This program required facilitators to conduct the workshops (which are integrated within the school's curriculum) with school children.

Bendigo TAFE works alongside EASE to ensure accredited training of the specific units is conducted according to national standards.  The training package that has been developed for the facilitator's of this program, is run over 2 years with 15 training days, assessment tasks and an extensive school based practical component.

The program runs throughout Victoria in over 200 schools and the children participating develop group and individual skills that enable them to develop behaviours and attitudes which elicit change for themselves and their families as well as the community benefiting overall as these young people grow and use these methodologies in every day life situations.

Inspirational Industry Solutions (IIS) is a Melbourne based organisation delivering courses in Retail, Management, Frontline Management, HR Management and Financial Services.

In the Retail area, student trainees working for companies such as Nandos, Bakers Delight, Subway, McDonalds, Pauls IGA, Mega Pet and other major retail outlets enjoy quality, reliable, benchmarked training delivered by IIS with Bendigo TAFE overseeing the course delivery and assessment.

Students are issued with a Bendigo TAFE certificate at the completion of their traineeship.

This relationship has proved to be a success in many ways with students re-enrolling into higher qualifications after their initial training.  With the Diploma of Retail Management now in Bendigo TAFE's Scope of Registration this means that a trainee can study via this auspice arrangement to become a Retail Manager.
