​Bendigo TAFE is the vocational education and training provider at Loddon and Tarrengower Prisons and the Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre. Education is given a high priority and participants are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their skills. A flexible approach is taken to training. 

Loddon and Tarrengower campuses cater for the needs of short and long-term clients. Among the students are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders; clients with intellectual, mental health and substance abuse issues; and those who are non-English speaking. The Malmsbury campus delivers VET programs for young men aged 18 to 22.
