Bendigo TAFE
Schools

Bendigo TAFE has partnered with a number of schools across the region to deliver VETiS (Vocational Education and Training in Schools) and VCAL (Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning) programs.  These programs are an alternative pathway through senior secondary school. Students undertake industry-focussed training as well as studying the traditional school curriculum. The programs give students in years 10, 11 and 12 a head start on TAFE training, apprenticeships or employment once they complete secondary school. See Courses for details and see Student testimonials who have gone on to further TAFE study.

Bendigo TAFE’s BTEC campus also delivers a range of vocationally-oriented programs including VETiS, VCE, VCAL and Australian School Based Apprenticeships.  Courses offered vary from school to school.  However, the following programs were delivered by Bendigo TAFE in 2010:-

Automotive – Hairdressing and Beauty – Building and Construction – Community Services Work – Electrical – Engineering – Furnishing – Interactive and Digital Media – Music Industry – Business and Office Administration – Information Technology – VCAL/General Education/Pathways – Health and Wellbeing.
