​Bendigo TAFE has two libraries located at the Bendigo City and Charleston Road campuses, however all students can access the library services through the library catalogue and have items sent to your local campus. The libraries provide resources and learning support services as well as providing an extensive Library Catalogue.


Online subject guides listing books, magazines, websites, CDs, DVDs and databases relevant to your course.  Access to online collections of journal articles, newspaper articles, statistics, law, standards, theses and other research information.

Computers with access to the Internet, library catalogue, email and standard Microsoft Office programs along with other software programs such as English language learning, MYOB, Adobe CS5 Suite, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Read and Write Gold, Cano scan and Nero.  Please note the software listed is not on all library computers due to licencing constraints.  The computers are located in the open access area and can be booked for up to two hours per day.   

Printing, photocopying and scanning equipment is available.  Photocopy cards are sold in denominations of $2.20, $5.50 and $11.00.  B&W printing is 10¢ per impression for an A4 sheet (20¢ = double sided) and 20¢ for A3.  Colour printing is 50¢ per A4 sheet.

- Twice-weekly free drop-in classes to help you prepare assignments, essays or use 
  IT tools effectively.

The Library offers a range of services, facilities and equipment to assist students with learning barriers.  Facilities housed in the City Campus Library include: large screen VDU’s on computers with access to the Library Catalogue, the internet, JAWS and MAGIC software, and Microsoft Office packages; a scanner for scanning text and images and text enlarging equipment.  There is a tutor room available. Bookings are necessary (please see the library tutor room brochure for more information).

Resources available for loan to students with a disability include: various AUSLAN books, videos and CD ROMs, ergonomic chairs for use in class, keyboards, copy holders, keyboard overlays and arm rests. To use these resources you must be approved by the Diability Liaison Officer (DLO) prior to borrowing.

New equipment is added from time to time, so please check with the Library staff or Student Support about what is available (see the Information for Library users with Disabilities brochure for more information) or contact the Library on 1300 554 248.
