Bendigo TAFE
Shelley is about to commence an exciting phase of her life after successfully completing her Diploma of Visual Arts ....

Diploma of Visual Arts

I studied art during high school and wanted to pursue a career in a creative artistic area but this was put on hold when I married and had children.

For a number of years I had always visited the Bendigo TAFE Open Day and contemplated enrolling in the Diploma of Visual Art but could not invest the required time whilst I still had children under school age.  Once my youngest child began school, so did I.

I studied the Diploma part-time and have enjoyed every moment of my journey at Bendigo TAFE.

The course content covered a wide variety of relative areas and has taught me many valuable skills and techniques I need to achieve my goals.

The teaching staff were extremely knowledgeable in their subject areas and were always supportive and mentoring towards me during my time at Bendigo TAFE.

I always felt comfortable being a mature aged student and enjoyed the interaction with younger students, other mature aged students and the staff members.  I am excited to be graduating but sad at the same time to be leaving such a great school which has made me feel like a valued member of their community for the last few years.
