Bendigo TAFE
Student facilities

Bendigo TAFE has campuses in Bendigo, Echuca, Kyneton and Castlemaine, but all students have access to the following facilities.

While enrolled at Bendigo TAFE, students are able to create a computer account to access our online resources.  You also have the option to create an email address or simply use your existing address.  To activate a computer account, you will need your Bendigo TAFE Student Card and are required to complete a form.  This form will be provided by your teacher or is available from IT&C or the Library,  where you have agreed to the Terms and Conditions.  Your account can be activated at the Library or the Information Technology and Communications Unit (ITCU).  Alternatively, your teacher may arrange for the whole class to activate their respective account during the first class at the City Campus library or respective computer lab.  Once you have access to the network you will be able to access Bendigo TAFE’s online student resources.  At present some of these resources are only available from within Bendigo TAFE campuses.

The City Campus Library includes an open access area for computers and all campuses have designated computer labs that are used for classroom delivery.  These may only be accessed as allocated in the Student Timetable – unless prior arrangements have been negotiated with the respective Teaching Department Manager.

BRIT Beginners Child Care Centre is a purpose built centre located at Bendigo TAFE’s Bendigo City Campus.  It is accredited under the National Childcare Accreditation Council and caters for 50 children per day between the ages of 0 and 5.  Priority of access is given to students and staff of Bendigo TAFE, children with disabilities or from minority groups, single parent and low income families and community members. Occasional care may be provided, depending upon availability of places.  Students travelling from the wider region can utilise this facility dependant on availability of places for their child/ren.
