Bendigo TAFE provides vocational training, education and assessment services to over 12,000 students per year. This equates to an overall delivery of 3.2 million student contact hours of education and training (in 2009) to a diverse market of individuals, private businesses and government organisations. All Bendigo TAFE courses are either nationally recognised qualifications or Bendigo TAFE accredited courses.

Bendigo TAFE has adopted AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems and the VET Quality Framework as the Institute's Quality Assurance Standard in order to provide a structured framework for the Institute's daily operations and continuously improve its processes and practices. The Institute's quality system also incorporates OH&S and other external requirements.
VET Quality Framework
The VET Quality Framework is aimed at achieving greater national consistency in the way providers are registered and monitored and in how standards in the VET sector are enforced. The VET Quality Framework comprises: the Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations, the Fit and Proper Person Requirements, the Financial Viability Risk Assessment Requirements, the Data Provision Requirements, and the Australian Qualifications Framework.
