Bendigo TAFE has over 500 teaching and support staff working on a full-time, part-time and casual basis across five campuses as well as corrections education centres at Loddon and Tarrengower Prisons and the Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre. With a diverse range of courses, students, campuses and delivery methods, the common characteristic of all our staff is their commitment to providing top outcomes for students and clients.

Staff development programs
Staff development is critical in maintaining both educational, professional and industry currency. We actively encourage the development of all staff and have a number of regular programs to support this:

  • teacher mentor program for new staff who may have extensive industry experience but less teaching experience
  • TAFE development centre programs
  • industry release is a critical activity for maintaining professional standards and technical competence of our staff
  • formal articulation arrangements with La Trobe University and Ballarat University.​
