This qualification is aimed at workers who provide therapeutic and program related support to Allied Health Professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Course Structure
  • This course is conducted as Blended delivery (e.g class room, simulation workshops and online learning). There is a 120 hour practical placement attached to this course.

Course overview

This qualification is aimed at training workers who support allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Participants undertake physiotherapy and occupational therapy skill sets, as well as a cluster of units to cover strength training and recreational programs for older persons. Course duration is 2 evenings on campus per week over one year, fulltime. Course includes a minimum of 120 hours of mandatory work placement. Applicants must be aged 18 and over.
