Welfare Support

Providing physical, emotional, and material support to individuals and groups is a key element of our Welfare Support team's mission.

Our student welfare program offers information, support, and guidance on various topics related to student welfare. These can include but are not limited to the following:

  • Family
  • Finances
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Material aid
  • Stress

Welfare support is a confidential and private service, staffed by qualified and experienced welfare officers and offers a range of services, including:

  • Information on fees and concessions
  • Centrelink assistance
  • Financial budgeting and saving skills
  • Scholarship Assistance
  • Emergency Relief
  • Accommodation support
  • Information and referrals to other support services within Bendigo TAFE and external service providers

How can I talk to a Welfare Officer?

You can book an appointment with a welfare officer during business hours at 13 TAFE (13 8233) or email at studentsupportservices@bendigotafe.edu.au. There may be other services you can access if this type of support is not right for you. Contact Student Support Services if you are unsure.

All campuses offer these services face to face, online, or by telephone.
