Due to the ongoing measures used to contain the spread of the COVID -19, Bendigo TAFE has taken the decision not to go ahead with the Class of 2019 Graduation Ceremony to be held on Wednesday 25 March 2020.

The safety and wellbeing of students and staff is our highest priority, and at this time we have decided that minimising large gatherings will help to reduce the risk of infection amongst our community.

Alternative arrangements are being considered however as we cannot predict a time when it will be appropriate to run the Graduation Ceremony, we will continue to follow the advice of the Department of Education and Training and the Department of Health and Human Services.

We are contacting participants who are impacted directly by email. If you have any further questions about this event, please contact us at

The Graduation Ceremony is a yearly event that celebrates the achievements of students who have completed their studies with Bendigo TAFE. This event is free for students to participate in and is held annually at the Ulumbarra Theatre in Bendigo.

Eligible students will receive invitations via email between December-February once they have completed their course of study and had their certificate printed. Please note: Certificates of qualification are not received at the Graduation Ceremony. These are sent directly to students registered address via post within 30 days of their teaching department signing off on course completion.

Each year a number of students are selected by their teaching area to receive awards and be interviewed for the overall Student of the Year and Apprentice of the Year. Award recipients and their guests are invited to attend Bendigo TAFE’s annual Industry Excellence Awards night and industry networking event where all winners are presented with their prizes onstage.

Bendigo TAFE recognises excellence in all student achievements and celebrate with awards ceremonies.
Awards ceremonies are a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate our students' achievements before they graduate.
