Bendigo TAFE is a child safe organisation. We are committed to providing, in a safe environment, opportunities for children and young people to participate in education and to the empowerment of all children under 18 years of age.
We do this by:
- Respecting and empowering children.
- Ensuring a safe physical and online environment.
- Valuing diversity and unique identities.
- Continuous improvement practices.
From 1 July 2022, the Child Safe Standards changed to further protect children and young people. To view the new Standards click here.
At Bendigo TAFE we have a zero tolerance to child abuse.
Allegations of child abuse should be reported to the Child Safety Officer by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Situations in which child (ren) are at immediate risk should be reported to Police by calling '000'
