The Bendigo TAFE Training Restaurant is a fully licensed restaurant where our Hospitality, Cookery and Bakery students gain real-world experience under the guidance of experienced industry chefs and teachers.

Whether you're joining us for a casual lunch, celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to enjoy quality food at affordable prices, every visit helps our students build the skills and confidence they'll take into industry.

Every service offers a unique dining experience, with menus carefully developed as part of our students' practical training.

Depending on the teaching program and seasonal produce available, you may enjoy:

• Seasonal à la carte and table d'hôte menus
• Fresh dishes inspired by local and international cuisine
• House-made desserts and baked goods
• Specialty coffee, beverages and mocktails
• Friendly table service delivered by Hospitality students
• Special themed lunches and dining events throughout the year

As our menus are created as part of student learning, offerings may vary from week to week, making every visit a little different.

Opening hours 

Our Training Restaurant is open for lunch on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12 pm and 2 pm during the following periods:

Term 1:      27 Jan - 2 April

Term 2:      20 April – 26 June

Term 3:      13 July - 18 September

Term 4:      5 October – 18 December.
