This course is delivered online via facilitated workshops on Thursdays from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.

Leadership and Management skills are critical to the success of all organisations, and can be applied in a broad range of context. 

The leadership and management team of any organisation is the foundations of its success.

Skilled managers do more than run operations, they inspire performance, communicate with influence, drive innovation, and provide true leadership.

Management and leadership skills will always be in solid demand and this qualification elevates leadership skills to the next level.

Leaders who are well-rounded with a high level of systematic operational, communication, collaboration and strategic skills, will ensure you’ve got the competitive edge and necessary skills for years to come.

 

The Diploma of Leadership and Management will give the learner the knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Students in this qualification will learn the tools and techniques to display initiative and judgement in the planning implementation and management of organisational requirements.  Including implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others.

The student will learn to apply effective communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

Learning outcomes include: applications and solutions to unpredictable problems and techniques to identify, analyse and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

How will I be assessed?

This qualification focuses on real world. It is a practical program with projects and assignments you can integrate into your existing role or organisation.

The program will give you skills and tools you can use immediately and encourages you to think differently.

You will be assessed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required by current industry standards. Assessments will include written, oral and practical assessment methods.
