If you are experiencing financial hardship, Bendigo TAFE have a number of Scholarships and Grants that provide the opportunity to turn your dreams of study into a reality.


Education Support Scholarships
Education Support Scholarships are a non-academic scholarship, which means you don’t need to have good grades, just passion and the want to take the next step in your chosen career path. These scholarships are for students experiencing severe financial difficulties and who would struggle to pay their fees without assistance.

These scholarships apply to all courses available at Bendigo TAFE.

Applications are open throughout the year.

Mick Young Scholarship

The Mick Young Scholarship honours the memory of Mick Young, a Shearer and federal cabinet minister who raised funds to help students complete their education. Mick Young was driven by the core belief that education creates opportunity and can change the lives of individuals, families and communities.

The Mick Young Funded Scholarship provides opportunities for students experiencing severe financial difficulties that would otherwise struggle to pay their fees without assistance to enrol in their chosen course successfully. ​

This scholarship applies to all courses available at Bendigo TAFE.

Rotary Club of Bendigo South – Indigenous Education Scholarship

In recognition of the importance of building the capacity of Aboriginal communities for self-determination and creating opportunities for Indigenous Australian students to complete vocational education, the Rotary Club of Bendigo South has made available a scholarship for Indigenous students commencing full-time studies at Bendigo TAFE.

This scholarship applies to all courses available at Bendigo TAFE.

The Pinnacle Foundation Scholarship

The Pinnacle Foundation provides educational scholarships, mentoring and opportunities for young LGBTIQ+ Australians to realise their full potential and overcome challenges arising from their identity. Scholarships are awarded for full-time study at public institutions of higher education in Australia to gain an educational or vocational qualification in any profession, trade, or the arts.

These scholarships apply to all courses available at Bendigo TAFE.

Applications are open 1 July 2021 – 15 September 2021. (This is applicable to the 2022 scholarship period).

Blind Citizen Australia Scholarship Program

The objective of this scholarship program is to increase the opportunities available to blind or vision impaired people to participate in tertiary/further education by offering financial assistance thus enabling blind or visually impaired people to develop skills that equip them to contribute to Australian communities’ social, economic and cultural lives.

These scholarships apply to all courses available at Bendigo TAFE.

Applications are open:

May 17 – June 30, 2021 (round 1)
November 22, 2021 – February 4, 2022 (round 2)
May 17 – June 30, 2022 (round 3)
