Driving growth and impact
Under Bendigo TAFE’s 2030 Strategic Plan – Growth for Impact, we have gained powerful momentum through initiatives that include launching a health-focused Learning Hub in Castlemaine, introducing cybersecurity delivery and progressing the Bendigo East Precinct Master Plan.
Celebrating excellence in teaching
Teacher of the Year Tarmi A’Vard was recognised for her innovative, student-centred approach to justice and community services education. With more than 20 years’ experience, she combines academic depth with real-world insights to prepare learners for meaningful careers.
“My secret weapon for keeping students engaged is my authenticity – showing up and being a learner alongside my students,” she said.
“I am deeply honoured to be named runner-up at the Australian Training Awards.
“This acknowledgment speaks to the impact of vocational education and the dedication of the learners, colleagues and communities I am privileged to work alongside.”
