Bendigo TAFE is up for a trifecta in the 2025 Victorian Training Awards, with finalist nominations that span the full spectrum of vocational education – a student, an educator, and the TAFE itself.
Headlining the nominations is Bendigo TAFE’s recognition as Large Training Provider of the Year finalist, a category we proudly won in 2022. This acknowledgement highlights Bendigo TAFE’s continued excellence in delivering inclusive, innovative, and industry-connected training that empowers learners and supports workforce development across Victoria.
Two standout individuals have also been recognised:
Zac Dudderidge, a school-based apprentice undertaking a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, has been nominated for School-based Apprentice of the Year. Zac’s hands-on approach and commitment to his trade make him a shining example of vocational pathways.
Tarmi A’Vard, a passionate community and justice teacher, is a finalist for Teacher/Trainer of the Year. Known for her student-first mindset and deep industry knowledge, Tarmi continues to inspire learners and strengthen community outcomes.
Winners will be announced at the Victorian Training Awards gala ceremony in September.
