Bendigo TAFE student wins regional road safety campaign with "Click to Equip"

Bendigo TAFE graphic design student, Samantha Mudford, has been recognised for her creativity and commitment to road safety, with her campaign 'Click to Equip' selected as the winning entry for the Re:act Regional program in Bendigo.

Re:act challenges design communication students across regional Australia to create campaigns that resonate with young people aged 17-25, aiming to improve road safety awareness among their peers.

Samantha's campaign stood out for its innovative approach and strong message, earning her the opportunity to see her work launched across partner and Re:act channels.

Re:act officially launched the campaign alongside local partners, City of Greater Bendigo and WorkSafe Victoria.

Funded by the Australian Government Office of Road Safety under the National Road Safety Action Grants Program (NRSAGP), the Re:act initiative not only raises awareness but also provides students with valuable industry experience.

Feedback from previous programs shows participation increases road safety awareness and influences positive behaviours among young people.

Samantha's success reflects the high standard of work produced by Bendigo TAFE students and highlights the importance of creative thinking in tackling real-world issues.
