Designed by award-winning architecture firm Architectus and constructed by First Nations construction company Barpa, the Hub replicates real-world healthcare environments, including:
four-bed healthcare simulation space
two-bed residential aged care simulation
home care simulation unit
general-purpose classrooms, breakout areas, reception, and shared staff offices.
Located within Dhelkaya Health, the Hub will be used by Bendigo TAFE students and Dhelkaya Health staff alike, supporting training delivery, graduate nurse development and external student initiatives, including a program with Monash University.
This shared space will not only help address local skills shortages but also create clear pathways to employment through direct access to placements and jobs in the region’s health sector.
